Assumptions We Made

Average wattage for crt TV (crt: 134; lcd: 108; plasma pdp: 406; projector dlp: 223 from CNET reviews for wattages http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-6475_7-6400401-3.html?tag=nav), use average of 200 W, assume TV now off 0.5 hour in the morning and 1.5 hours at night, every day. That reduces TV watching from 4 hours/day to 2 hours/day.
